The main problem remains the footballing infrastructure.
We keep getting new, and different types of, managers in....it keeps failing.
They need to get an experienced football head in to oversea the lot, recruitment, youth development, coaching infrastructure etc.
There seems to be an allergy to the term "Director of football" in this country, so call this job.....something else. I don't really care what.
Leave Burrows and Gunn to deal with the money Side, leave Swiss Toni to eat rowies and bacon.
Unless and until there's a shake up, this is normal.

Yep I’m with you there Rico.

I’ve no issue with him selling to Cormack. I’d have sold to Saddam Hussein to get Milne out the door, but its absolutely inexplicable (and inexcusable) that Cormack kept Milne hanging about.

Milne’s on the FMB. The FMB have made a complete arse of it re manager hiring especially.

    Coincidence?

    All time low?

    Really?

We finished rock bottom of the league under Milne. Last place. Only avoided relegation due to league reconstruction meaning there was no automatic relegation & then the cancellation of a play off thanks to Falkirk’s ground being shyte.

We smuggled a jakey manager out the ground in the boot of a car after he missed a game cause he was too pished to get there - & then didn’t sack him.

    I could go on.

The current situation is not great, far from it, & I’m nae happy either, but right now is rock bottom? Not even close min.

    As I said, short memories…

The way things are going moog there’s a good chance we could finish rock bottom under Cormack at some point.

There’s no doubt that Stewart Milne was a terrible chairman for us and it’s a disgrace that he is still involved in the club.It doesn’t get away from the fact that Cormack has been a terrible chairman for the club as well.

You are right that there is zero chance of someone coming in and taking over from him.Like someone said earlier what he needs to do is hire an experienced football head to oversee all football operations and for him to sit quietly in the background.

Unfortunately I don’t think his ego would allow that to happen and if it doesn’t we are always going to be in the mess we find ourselves in at the moment.

Fair points, but as I said, we need to see what this “independent” review delivers.

Gunn’s role is the main one I’m focused on. He needs to go, or be moved. If the review doesn’t deliver that as one of its outcomes, I think it’s a waste of time.

Cormack’s tried a different approach - nothing wrong with that - and it hasn’t worked - it happens - but you have to recognise when your approach doesn’t work & do something about changing it. So if nothing changes after this review, then yes clearly Cormack & his ego are the key long term issue dragging us down & are a real danger to the club.

I’ll wait & see what the review delivers before condemning him for all time.

That said, for me he’ll never be Milne. At least not until he rims the hun publicly or backs up the Tims to fück us & all the diddy clubs over for all time, just like that prick did…

Cormack reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons, when Homer gets put in charge of designing the car.

    Stewart Milne is the antichrist

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere else but the guy mainstandmoan who was popular on here has posted this on the hat.

    “Ongoing shambles.

So there is an external 'specialist' brought in to evaluate all aspects of the footballing side of the club. Its been suggested that the consultants will look over all the daaataaaaaa and perhaps even come up with the right man for the managers job?

Software Dave strikes again. Why do you have a board? Why do you have senior management? Once again proven, these puppets do nothing but salute and nod. Gunn, Burrows, Garner,, Milne.......not a voice to be heard.

If this external review was done properly, they should all get their jotters for having to get external consultants involved in the first place.

Yet again, I expect a complete left field random appointment from Software Dave and his daaaataaaaa.

AFC are in big trouble, with no change in fortune in sight with this present structure.“

I mentioned his first post from last week somewhere on here.

Nobody should be surprised or shocked reading that. It's clear as day something is wrong at the club and not just on the pitch

Someone posted Burrows could be going soon, I heard the same yesterday.

Oh for the steadying hand of a Dick Donald at the helm.
