No Russell or Watters in the matchday squad.
That would be the starting 11 I would have selected, it looks our strongest team
Good team that I think and what I would’ve picked. Maybe slightly harsh on Cosgrove seeing as he scored last weekend but not sure McAtee deserved to be out of the team.
Hoping the atmosphere is similar to last season’s game against Derby. Result too.
Pines starts.
Is he going to be duped into giving away a penalty ?
I’m expecting Derby to target his inexperience.
20 mins in and we are behind the blackball again!
Thats more like it lads.
COYR
1st Half
I’ll not say much.
Derby are really pi.ss poor - as they were at Derby and rely on a bit of passing skill from an OLD head.
Only chance they have of winning is from a spot kick eg corner.
Barnsley are just making hard work of it.
As usual over complicating things going forward - tippy tappy.
Especially Kane - who has been put through into great positions and if he had owt about him (shooting or passing opportunities) we should certainly be 3 - 1 up by now.
We are more or less sound in defence.
But we need a change to untangle and uncomplicate things going forward.
Grant for Kane.
Cosgrove for Philips..
Marsh for McAtee.
Very good result for us and most of the other games went in our favour.
Well done to the team and management
Excellent result.
Well played Lads.
