What do you think the benefits…,

Of having one or two fans reps on the board, I’ve always thought they were sworn to secrecy so couldn’t share anything with the support until it was decided certain things could go public, we might end up with someone who couldn’t keep things to himself and end up jeopardising a transfer move, personally I wouldn’t have them

Fans rep would be good to give some input, but really shouldn't be making the the decisions, like him or not nelms is the guy providing the money

A fans rep should be able to put forward the fans views about the price of season tickets and when they are advertised for sale.
eg not selling them at Premier League prices before the end of a season when we were likely to be relegated to the Championship.
The sale of tickets before the Queens Park match last May should have only been sold to season ticket holders with no priority being given to other groups of Dundee supporters.
The sale of tickets for the 50th Anniversary dinner of us winning the League Cup should have been sold in the ticket office on a ‘first come, first served’ basis for all Dundee supporters whether they were a member of DSA affiliated Dundee FC supporters club or not.
We are all Dundee FC supporters and we should all be treated the same.

Tim Keyes is the guy providing the money not John Nelms who was installed in Dundee Football Club to look after Tim Keyes investment.

Sadly, until John Nelms recognises Dundee fans as more than just a source of cash there can't be any fans rep. That'll never happen as long as he's in his current position.

I heard that John Nelms turned down Dundee supporters buying back Dens Park from John Bennett because Nelms wanted the Dundee supporters to hand over all their money to Dundee Football Club instead of contributing to the cost of buying back Dens Park.
In my opinion that was a bad move by Nelms as shortly after his comment new rules were introduced in May 2015 resulting in Dundee Football Club Limited having to state the annual rent they were paying to Sandeman Properties Limited for Dens Park plus the total rent due for he following financial year, next five years and full amount due until the end of their lease in their annual accounts.

If this is the reason then I’m glad Nelms has binned the idea

The last Dee4life primary representative on the Dunde Football Club board of directors should be explaining on this board what his role was apart from sitting in the Directors box for both home and away games sitting on a comfy seat and enjoying lavish hospitality.
Nice work if you can get it.
