    Soccerstats

Saw Soccerstats mentioned on the Neil Collins thread so thought I'd work out the final table prediction for the top 7 (other teams fall short - I did work it out for clubs down as far as Wigan).

    The final placings based on their stats are;

    Derby 93.56 points
    Portsmouth 91.59
    Bolton 91.38
    Barnsley 85.53
    Peterborough 80.50
    Stevenage 77.63
    Oxford 75.95

I would go along with that estimation.

Wouldn't fancy Peterborough in Play Off Semi Finals. They are too erratic in attack, could score one or could score six in open games. Prefer a dull old tight Semi against Bolton or Stevenage with one goal in it over two legs.

If we beat Derby today and Peterborough, Portsmouth and Bolton all drop points, that prediction could turn around very quickly.

I kind of think were playoff material having dropped too many points at home but all outcomes are still on the table.

    Interesting isnt it?

Just out of interest, I'll get the latest data off soccerstats in a few weeks and work out a new prediction then.

It will be interesting to see what happens Dingle. I agree Oxford have gone but I expected Stevenage to go sooner but they're still hanging in there. Lincoln look good at the minute but how long will that last? Time will tell.

Always good to look at these stats, cheer's Arby.

Main thing is all to play for for us at this current time.

Some interesting games at the top this weekend which will then go into the stat's melting pot!

Yes it's always interesting to see what the stats say Chop. Two week break now for me so let's hope it's good news when I get back 🤞
