    Liverpool’s win.

It’s OK for Gary Neville to wax lyrical about Liverpool’s youngsters win over Chelsea and that Chelsea are ‘bottlers’ when in actual fact Chelsea’s average age is younger than Liverpool’s. They may have more experience but they are just youngsters too and the occasion may have got to them as well. I think that it’s somewhat unfair to make this comment.

Does anyone ever take notice of what Gary Neville says anymore? Some of his comments over the last few years have bordered on stupidity.

Totally agree Neville says one thing one day and the opposite the next day
He’s an absolute clown, no thought goes into anything he says and it just shows that like most things these days everything is dumbed down and no real thought goes into anything and no one is prepared to have any conviction for their opinion

Absolutely agree about Neville whose comment was thoughtless at best and more like deliberate click bait at worst. Both teams fielded young teams and, yes, most might have expected Chelsea to have done better given that they had more experience but no need for such a crass comment.

I didn't catch a lot of the match myself but although Liverpool looked the better side it didn't look like Chelsea "bottled it" from what I saw and both teams had opportunities. It is difficult to argue though that Liverpool didn't seem to want it more, particularly in extra time, and hats off to them -and to Klopp-for their performance.

As for the comments around money, I think most like to see the higher priced teams coming unstuck to perceived under-dogs but for all the ensuing Liverpool love-in, just a reminder that Liverpool aren't exactly short of a bob or two in comparison to most clubs either.

It’s what I hate most “top club” bias.
Just look at the games we won in the Prem against “top” opposition. It was never we showed them how to play football it was always that the team we beat had an off day.
