There must be a hell of a lot of Islamist Muslims in Rochdale if they can elect the raving mad, anti semite, pro Hamas/Hezbollah lunatic that is George Galloway. Both the Tories and Labour have suspended membership of politicians who have spoken arguably over the top recently. Depending on one’s point of view some will agree with the Tory guy who said Khan was in thrall to the Islamists, fewer I would suspect or hope agree with the abandoned Labour candidate in the Rochdale by election. The idea that there is only a tiny majority of radical Islamists and the vast majority of Muslims are model citizens I’m afraid doesn’t hold water in my opinion. In Rochdale the Tories would never stand a chance in any circumstances, Labour shot themselves in the foot. The Lib Dems are, well, the Lib Dems, useless. There was however a perfectly reasonable other choice a local independent running on local issues and he came a creditable second. Surely if you were to believe the rhetoric about moderation in the Muslim population at large then taking into account the Labour Party’s troubles with their candidate then the local lad should have picked up the ‘reasonable Muslim vote’ but no the ‘moderates’ voted for the thing that is George Galloway. I reckon that tells us all we need to know.

If you don't know what George Galloway's about he can come across as a very charming and influential individual who shares the values that you share and who is prepared to fight for what you believe. That's because he's a self serving narcissist who knows when to step into a situation to take advantage of it to his own ends. He won't serve the people of Rochdale whether Muslim, Jew or Christian during this short period he'll have at Westminster; he'll serve George Galloway and will cause the maximum disruption and controversy that he possibly can while he can.

George Galloway thinks he'll have the Labour and Conservative leadership squirming with fear; they'll be squirming right enough, but with embarrassment that a clown like that can beat their candidates in any vote.

Just to expand - Sunak's already hit the first blow in the battle by declaring that there are people intent on destroying democracy in this country, clearly meaning Galloway. I can see emergency legislation coming to reel that tw@t and the Free Palestine mob in pretty soon.

I agree with a lot of that and lee Anderson spoke about khan and Starmer......the Starmer bit has been very conveniently edited out.

Thing is I think if you asked the the non Muslims of the UK if they would prefer the UK to be Muslim free.......a large minority I feel would say yes possibly a small majority......multi culturalism has pretty much not worked in England, yet to be truly tested in Scotland.

I'd like the UK to be religion free.

I wasn't going to reply to this but decided to.

I'm not religious, suspect I'm 99.999% right that there's no God and heaven wud be a bit of a bore if there was a heaven but still dinnae want to risk a pick fork up my jacksey for the rest of eternity or worse so I try to keep on the straight and narrow.

    But

I like that this country has been built on Christian traditions, Christian law and Christian symbolism.

I don't like seeing it picked apart by hoardes from a foreign religion that's incomparable to western culture.

As Christianity and church attendance has plummeted.....other religions have taken its place, religion of climate change, religion of LGBT doctrine and in certain environments islam......prisons in England have lots of conversions and conversions are high in north of England.....if you can't beat them join them.

So I much prefer to have religion I'm just not too keen on the rapidly growing radical one.

The vicar and his side kick in dad's army, the meeenister in the browns is aboot as radical as it shout get.
