Thread: FA cup draw (hopes)....potentials.

  1. #1

    Lightbulb FA cup draw (hopes)....potentials.

    Newcastle United
    Leicester
    Man city
    Coventry
    Chelsea/Leeds
    Nott'm For/Man utd
    Wolves/Brighton
    Liverpool/Southampton.

    Ideal scenario or blind hope.....
    Newcastle United v Coventry
    Man utd v Man city
    Chelsea v Liverpool
    Leicester v Wolves/Brighton.

My thinking is 2 big teams go out leaving us (hopefully) and 2 big teams and a better chance of landing a tie against Leicester or Wolves or Brighton at Wembley.

    Or..... more blind hope.....

    Newcastle United v Coventry
    Southampton v Man city
    Leeds v Liverpool
    Leicester v wolves/Brighton.

This time a chance to get Leeds or Southampton, Leicester, Wolves or Brighton.

This set up leaves Man city travelling the farthest down the country.
It also leaves Liverpool having to endure Leeds fans at home.

A few little bits of food for thought.
    What do you fans think?

The pessimist in me says we'll likely get Man city away but I'm trying to be positive.
I just hope it's not rigged.

I've put a lot of effort into this so let's have your efforts, lads and lasses.

At this stage, the way we've played recently, I'm finding myself looking at each team and coming up with reasons we'll lose.

I'd settle for a home draw against the lowest place league team and hope that the big clubs get drawn against each other.

Our form has to improve some time (you'd like to think) so hopefully we give whoever we get a game. If we do that and lose then I'm ok with that.

Last 8 in the FA Cup is quite the achievement given our recent injuries.

The pessemist in me thinks away to Lpool or man city away, that would be typical for us. I have lost all the confidence ive had previously, that we can beat anybody. We are a shadow of the team we were and therefore i will predict we go out at the next round, i pray im wrong. All i can hope for is that lpool get city, and leeds get chelsea

I think we’ll get Man U. Hope it’s at home. I’m trusting Sir Edward of Howe to have us playing well again by the time the quarter final comes around.

Listen, they are not that good anyway!
They have one half-decent player (#9) with funny name and thats it. I mean without his goals, they would lose to Luton, ffs!
    Lascelles will eat him alive
