I think Fellows is more akin to Beckham. He doesn't have Willie's blistering pace but creates a yard to stick a cross in. We need a striker who can get on the end of them.

If Sunderland beat Norwich and Preston beat Hull I think that would make the perfect weekend.

Fellows is quick over 5 yards, in reality that’s the most important trait, Beckham had the art of crossing around the fullback before he’d actually passed him.

The way he drops his shoulder and the way he cuts the ball back are so like him.

He’s diminutive as well, not a spare ounce on him.

He’s also electric over 5 yards like Willie, he pushes the ball and runs as well…..Mikey is more of a dribbler, very skilful but not so much like Willie in my opinion.

Watch a few of Willie’s old highlights and you’ll see how he pushed it past his man and chased it!😍😎

    I still tingle watching him.

Willie was my man Mick. I see what you mean about the actual movement. I was a winger when I was a kid (became a striker later) but I used to copy Willie as best I could. There’s something about Johnston that reminds me of Willie too.
(The goal v Blackpool cutting in from the right-Shot-Goal like Mikey)
