Speaking to some Bradford fans in the pub, they had it relaid 18 months ago, then it got churned up and froze that night and not been good since then. Said the stands don't allow the wind and sun to get to it and it's just got worse and worse with all the wet weather in the last year. Not good though, not going to pay our travel back or meal. Tossers.

It was bad enough that they consulted a ref this morning. The forecast was always for heavy rain from 9amish onwards. A combination of that and the state of the pitch should have been enough evidence for an earlier postponement.
