Romared Match Thoughts Wycombe Wanderers v Barnsley

I'm off to watch Trinity tomorrow so I won't be tuning in to the game .

However I'll try and keep up with events at Adams Park through my phone .

Hopefully a good win and really set us up for the Bolton game on Tuesday night .

Starting to get really interesting .

Always a difficult game this, but given the confidence we should have, I’m quietly optimistic! I would love us to keep a clean sheet for once, hopefully with one or two going in their net?
Pay on the day tomorrow I may actually drive the 4 hours to attend if the weather isn’t too bad when I get up, torn atm cos it’s p1ssing down here!

A double over the wanderers in the next two games would be most welcome.
I think both will be tough games.
Wycombe are usually on the physical side and we’ve had a bit of soft belly in defence this season. I hope the physicality that Pines and Earl have brought to the team are up to the job.

We could do without picking up any knocks before the other Wanderers visit.

I seem to say the same thing every week that I expect another tight game but I think we have enough in our locker to come back with 3 points after a win by the odd goal possibly 1 v 0 .

Agree that it will be a tight, tough game today.

Confident in our away record to come out on top though.

We found them hard work to break down at Oakwell until a last minute "coming together" of Cosgrove and their keeper led to the ball being lost from the keeper's grip.

We may need a similar event today.

Felt like time stood still when Cosgrove had the ball at his feet, such a weird feeling and weird goal to witness.

Speaking of Cosgrove, I could potentially see him starting today. Would mean he can go up against the more physical Wycombe and keep McAtee fresh for Bolton on Tuesday.

    No McAtee or Cadden involved?

    Anyone know why?
