What matters is what we do against Stoke, Wendies, Millwall, Watford, Dull, Coventry etc and performances like that against Dudds are unacceptable. If there is a physical challenge then we need to meet it head on (literally or otherwise) and the style of play exhibited by Dudds needs to be shown to be flawed because we beat teams who employ that strategy. Otherwise, we might as well give up now and accept that we face life in the Championship for the foreseeable.

Standing up to physical teams should be a given but we didn’t win v Dudds largely due to a lot of poor decision or inaccurate passing in the final third.

No space made available to make our wing pace potent.
We don't have those players that are able to rough the oppo up either as we are too nice.
Certainly required more direct quick fire passes like the one Bamf slid onto for our goal in that game as teams with "spoiler" game plans like Hudds need to be blown away via the more rougher direct approach, imo.

Still gotta get over that particular learning curve & learn how to mix it now & again into getting those needy 3 points when the pretty stuff dont work for us.

Decent account from TSB from Moscow Whites perch regarding that type of match.

Wonder if Cresswell might have been given a run? I do think that Joseph would have caused them more issues that Piroe did.

we do seem to attract coaches that are loyal, to a fault, to their favorites. Maybe a little more ruthless given the stretch of season we are in.

It's easy to "monday morning quarterback" from a keyboard and he's done a wonderful job but we were flat from the opening whistle and we weren't breaking them down...even with 10 men.
