Well, I'm not seeing a lot of width there in the forward areas. Not sure where crosses are going to come from. I know a lot of people are frustrated with Middleton but I would have preferred either him or Fotheringham in there to give their full backs something to think about. I just can't see a lot of chances being created with that team, but I could (hopefully) be wrong.

First job of a fullback is to defend and we've been giving up space in that area since Grimshaw was dropped. Thomson is better going forward and with set pieces but that's not what a fullback is measured on. Think Grimshaw wasn't dropped due to defensive mistakes but daft mazy runs into midfield where he lost the ball.

As I say, just from what I've seen, not at the games physically, budget airline prices aren't what they used to be 😎

Just want to see us getting back to the basics of what brought us results previously.

Thomson isn't a right back and, honestly, I think it shows when he plays there. He's an attacking midfielder and it looks like he'll be played in that position tonight, thankfully.

Is it just me or do we really need to advertise what the team is going to be 24 hours before kick off? Seriously, what purpose does it serve other than to potentially alert the opposition as to what to expect???????

Honestly mate at our level and with how poor our team is performing it doesn't matter a single bit.

on a side note, Its depresses me to see haddies like Tilson and Grimshaw in the Team before young, local ball players but that's Scottish football for you. All about energy, running and battling having technical ability is very much secondary.

Looks like another change in formation to me, as tilson, sibbald and docherty aren't flexible in positional sense, probably 4-3-3.
