Great result and we stood up to them in the right way at last. I thought we played pretty well and could easily have had another goal or two.

What a horrific game of hoofball last night but a much needed result. Battled well, Onto saturday

You can tell that it was a big win by the players' reaction. It felt very much like we played as a team last night, with everybody rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in. Big praise for Miller Thomson who I thought was brilliant...his tug on the shirt to prevent a breakaway was absolutely class. I would have had either him or Sibbald down for MotM. We need to keep this workrate up and need to make sure that we have the same fighting attitude for Arbroath who could easily be a banana skin.
