    Dara O’Shea.

What a pile of garbage this bloke is.

Another shocker today for Bournemouth’s opening goal.

I think we stole £7m off Burnley when we sold him, I’d have Bartley every day of the week ahead of this clown.

Hard to believe that a centre half of such class as Kompany could make such a bad evaluation of a fellow CH.

Totally agree Mick as Bartley so much better. O’Shea too small to be playing in that position as constantly out jumped.

He’s just been totally exposed for his lack of quality and athletic ability with Bournemouth’s second goal and then immediately hooked by Kompany!🤡🤣

I wouldn’t pick his for my Championship squad if I was a manager.

I was disappointed to see him leave as I considered him a ‘young’ prospect with undoubted commitment.
He is of course not so young (24) and as alluded to above, you would have thought Kompany would have got the best out of him ?
I guess his days at Premiership level are to be short lived albeit he may still be worth a punt at the right price.
Sadly his simple defending - doing his utmost for his Club - seem to have been lost in the aura of his now Premiership status.
Unsurprisingly I’d still play him in preference to Bartley.

Paul….you’d play yourself and Des ahead of Bartley!😏🤣

Surprised Prando as Bartley has faults but to be fair he’s been relatively solid this year. He’s far more consistent than players like Townsend, Reach, Chalobah and Swift. Take age out of the equation - I would select Bartley over Ajayi for sure and so would Carlos who rates him!

Is Bartley the future? No because he’s too old, injury prone and his salary too high. Been decent this season though to be fair on the whole!

He’s an odd one Dara. No attributes of a modern centre half or an old school one. Still young in centre half terms but he’s not going to get quicker, taller or better on the ball.

I doubt he’ll ever be a solid premier centre half.

Never rated him, totally and constantly out of his depth at PL level. He’d be my fifth choice if he still played for us, with the CBs we have at our disposal (Bartley, Kipré, Ajayi and Pieters all before him).

    Well said Thomas.

If you see a centre half who’s constantly in the stretch and taking to the ground, jumping underneath the crosses and always square on to play then you’ve got yourself a bad player.

He does all of the above in spades AND he has no pace.

For me, he deserves The Stacey North award for being the worst centre half of the past decade at our place.

I agree! Bartley is three times the player and Carlos knows this himself!
