Unlikely as it may be, I'd be really pleased if we were able to sign him but I'm sure continued performances such as he has already put in will attract attention from others too seeking to pry him away from Celtic. As he says himself, he still has much to learn but he definitely has talent.

He is a breath of fresh air for us at the moment, however so was Diangana when he first came to us so I ain't getting over excited about possibly signing him. If he helps us get promotion then goes back to Celtic I will say thank you Mikey and good luck.

It astounds me with almost every player and manager, most seem to be oblivious as to when they’ve found a perfect fit for them.

If you look at the Wikipedia page for most players these days you see multiple clubs and not many high appearance numbers.

I remember Derek Hales at Charlton, lethal and profiling for them and hopeless at Derby County.

Don Rodgers at Swindon, superb for them hopeless for Palace.

Peter Marinello, a god at Hibernian, useless at Arsenal.

Look at Diomansy Kamara, had his best career stats with us and useless when he dumped us.

Dwight Gayle’s stats when with us were by far the best of his career, nothing since.

I guess I’m just different but if I’d been a player, I’d have been more down the Steve Bull route and stayed put where I was loved and well looked after.

It’s a pity more players don’t wake up to this fact.

That’s what I would do too. I think Agents keep following the money and not a perfect fit for their client.

I would be in agreeance with your post Mick.
perhaps some want to win medals and wont with a certain club. Perhaps money. But you can certainly see when a player and a club have a good fit going on.

Very true mate, Mowbray being a fine example.

Rumour has it that Fulham had a scout in the crowd watching him against Coventry the other night. No idea if that's correct by the way.
