Maybe a bit harsh but we’d be at least as weak as we were the first time we got into the Prem in 2002.
Got it. Yes. I think we all know we don’t stand a dogs chance in the Prem. Even if we had a major overhaul we wouldn’t have time to Gel before we got tonked. Another reason I hate the Prem. I never thought I would think this way but the only value of getting to the Prem is money, and I hate that being the reason instead of ambition.

    Exactly how I feel mate.

We’d need to boing between divisions like we did in the 2000’s a few times.

Corberran has done a pretty decent job with the players available, I am very interested to see if he gets the chance to build his own team .
Now this is not a Carlos out post by any means but as with all managers/ coaches he has his his faults, subs on 60 mins killing the game stone dead, consistently picking favourites ( Reach, Chalobah, Wallace and Swift) and introducing this over 60’s walking football.
Shilleen will no doubt have his advisors, much more of this away crap and he might find he’s out the door
I for one hope not because he deserves the chance to build a young energetic side unlike the pedestrian one we have now, we are 5th only on home form and the odd away success, just shows how poor the league is

I'd probably disagree with this. You could argue his sub v Coventry to bring Bartley on and revert formation won us the game. You could argue bringing on Ajayi so early last night helped us earn a point.

I think Corberan has areas to improve absolutely, but I can't see subs or picking the players he has being one of them. There is literally no-one else to play.

Corberan has taken the same team Bruce had on the fringes of relegation to the fringes of the play offs. He is got a lot of credit in the tank for me.

I think that he has a lot of credit with all of us but to my mind, persisting with Wallace as a striker and some of his substitutions are questionable. This doesn’t mean that we don’t rate him.

We’ve all moaned in the past about managers like Steve Clarke who are wedded to a system and fixated on certain players etc.

This will be no different with Corberan, if we go on a bad run at some point he’ll fall victim to these weird decisions such as Wallace at CF and Reach being classed as a footballer.

Managers are so adept at preparing their own noose.

I can never understand how 25,000 fans can see these issues yet managers refuse to accept that something isn’t working.

Darren Moore was the classic and now at the bottom of the barrel with Port Vale and he will take them down and what next. Kidderminster?

But to be fair, who's been the perfect football manager? Carlos is doing what he can with what he's got, and knows that his future depends on his decision making. I'm sure Wallace would be the first to confirm he's not a striker, but is prepared to fill in to help the team, just like Brunty did years ago. Irrespective of last night, we're still in a good position, and can look forward to a strengthened squad for the final push next month.

Agree and made Kipre and Mowatt excellent championship players. Carlos will do the same with Grady as it’s a confidence thing. Would Wallace or Asante have scored those two brilliant goals with one touch? No chance!

No manager is perfect. We do hugely miss Bartley though and can’t believe the slack he gets from some!
