Very lucky tonight …. QPR definitely the better side. But then two bits of magic. Not many strong performances tonight. Kipre was a rock. Pieters stuck at it. Furlong had a decent game. And Palmer was solid. What has happened to Wallace - the CF role idoesn’t work. But we seemed to get outfought and gave the ball away far too much.

Still a points a point - happy to take it. Also QPR beat Leicester away at the weekend - they looked a decent side.

When we are under pressure we don't have an out ball, for all his faults we do miss Asante's work rate, but we miss Maja even more, we don't have the players to play keep ball.

We might possibly be the worst side to ever make the play offs.

I can’t understand why Weiman doesn’t start, he’d hold the ball up better than Wallace and he’s more dangerous.

    Where was Bartley tonight?

Bartley was injured again we do miss his defensive organisation, I heard a stat on commentary tonight that we have to oldest average squad in the championship when we play a midweek game it does show.

My sentiments. Wallace has been poor two games running - he has no pace and can't hold the ball up. Basically he can't play in that position.

Whilst Bartley has faults, when he's not there we are exposed at the back and can't understand why anyone can't see that.

Pipa for me looks better than Reach in that position too. Last night whilst rare - Mowatt was very poor!

    Weiman needs to start!

We were second best in all departments last night. Why Carlos can’t see that Wallace is not a striker, I just don’t know.We have four very good wide players, Fellows, Johnston, Diangana and Wallace himself, so why not rotate them. Diangana can play in midfield but Wallace just isn’t a striker. Asante must come back when fit, if not, play Weimann.
I’m also concerned with his use of substitutes as it’s the same every time and we end up playing a ‘what we have, we hold’ game. As I’ve said many times before, attack is the best form of defence.
This post may sound churlish considering the position Carlos has got us into but I believe they are valid points.

Were not the worst team in the play off's. That's a reaction from one match. When we play great and win comfortably we all love it. Sometimes though you have to win ugly in this league. I hear loads of positives from other quarters and often on TV commentaries, and from opposition managers. We've been incredible this season when you take everything into consideration. Getting a point from QPR when they have found themselves another Spanish maestro is a good point even if we had exceptional luck with KIpre's hand ball. (About time we had some) COYB!!!

I think you misunderstood my point mate, I was really meaning to highlight that if we were to make the play offs and go up that I think we’d be as poor a side as any that has achieved that feat.

Maybe a bit harsh but we’d be at least as weak as we were the first time we got into the Prem in 2002.

You are completely right! In terms of quality and consistency we are miles behind Leicester- Leeds and Southampton. Of course we can beat anyone in a one off match just like Maidstone beat Ipswich.

This team is a shadow of the squad who lost out to promotion - Dawson - Hegazi - Barnes - Rodriquez - Gayle and Brunt to name but a few. We don’t even have a clinical goal scorer.

The only concern is if we made the play offs would be the away match!

Still don’t like so many changes in a match as unsettling and not being able to keep the ball. I would pray Bartley is fit for Huddersfield and drop Wallace for Weiman!
