Wouldn't it be a dream if over the next three windows

Over each window, Summer, Winter and next season's summer. we could develop two top academy players of the quality of Anderson and Miley, and then move out a couple of the fringe squad players and follow up with the huge concentration of the purchase of two top incomers, shrewdly selected of the likes of Isak, Botman or Tonali.

Over the three windows that would be 12 in and 12 out and almost a full half of the lesser quality squad players replaced.

I'm sure the of players now coming through the academy it could bring two through a window, and my reasoning behind this is the talent now coming through in such a short time, compared to what there was available just two seasons ago.

Another good point would be that it would show present and potential new academy players that there was a real chance for them to star and progress their careers, again proof of the pudding, Anderson and Miley would have made it into most Prem sides.

Also only having to bring two top quality new players from other clubs would ease the pressure on those who hunt them down.

Just a thought and anyone else with an idea for steady and forward progression

When you consider the (ridiculous) FFP rules, it’s a bit of a no brainer to go down this route i.e. developing young players. The main challenge will be their wages, once they’ve made the breakthrough to our first team. Will we be able to afford to pay as high wages within FFP compared to the big six?
We’ll probably have to sell some but if there’s a conveyor belt of young players coming through, it’ll be fantastic.
Of course you need a coaching team capable of developing them and we’ve got that.

    Well said both.

ALthough I notice we've just lost 1-7 to Chelsea

We will certainly make some money on those who have had debuts this season, even if they don't make our first team.
