I think whatever happens in the next 10 games LR will be head coach and Scott the DoF, otherwise TS has even less credability with the fans and with people in football. I think this summer starts now as we will be in L1 no matter what so there is no excuse to not have plans in place and to start to implement those plans and communicate those plans to us the fans. LR knows which of the current squad he wants next season, the DoF knows the contract situation for all the players, so where new contracts are needed or discussions are needed that can all be happening now. There is no need to keep the entire squad happy anymore, if their are players that are not required and they are unhappy so what, focus on the ones that want to wear the shirt and you want here. I think LR is in a position to be quite strong with TS and say exactly what is required for 1st July at Roundwood, the work can start now, i do think he should say that access to an artifical pitch must be in place either at roundwood or via rental contract at another location, there is zero reason why when the bad weather comes later in the year (it is the UK we get a lot of rain) that we do not have access to non-grass outside training facilities. The types of players and the levels of fitness of the squad when we kick off in L1 will tell us a lot about LR and the intentions of the club.

    Fergie

You have to feel for shane, the urge to play on. The left side was never better served here in his time and no better crosser of the ball.
I hope it isn’t much of a set back and he gets some rest and is able to trot out at the NYS a final time to the applause he deserves.
Then, if not before, he gets a complete rest and if needs be he retires in good health.
He is someone we now really can’t risk taking on longer, and perhaps he may feel that way too.
Great player, i’m sure we all wish him well.

All very much spot on. And starting this week if it isn’t being done, why not?
LR saying they’ve all had a chance shows that’s all he has been doing, assessing. He could have saved the time and asked us.

I think something else is lurking deep in the bowels of our club....as people used to say," trouble at'mill"...

This discussion about Roundwood, our players don't look remotely fit. We used to have a high pressing game, if we do it now for more than a couple of minutes, we're blowing out of our harris.
Rain water from the top pitch will always drain downhill to "our" pitches. It's been the same since we've been at Roundwood.

This didn't seem to be a topic to moan about when we had several promotions training there,......why now? Just something else to blame,...or deflect the blame?

Apparently there is considerable activity in the big banks that specialise in brokering football club acquisitions.
