Pretty sure the Lizard People would have eaten the soppy nuct by now if they existed to stop him drawing attention to them 🤣.

When you think about it, though, there are lots of slimy creatures in the Houses of Parliament!

If you listen to the tales of the Ananarkhi and the lizard people and the fact that we are governed by some sort of galactic alliance a long of things start to make sense

As a kid I always liked books like "Chariot of the Gods" or books on the paranormal and various "unexplained" mysteries like the Bermuda Triangle. Of course, sixties tv was also full of various sci-fi adventure shows too so I'm sure that had its own influence! A lot of stuff is mostly rubbish and doesn't bear much scientific/factual scrutiny but I certainly believe that there still remain quite a lot of unexplained phenomena and that some of the (literally &#128512 outlandish theories put forward are logically possible. I've recently been watching old re-runs of the X-Files on Channel 4 and whilst some of the stories are just that, quite a few are based on real life events and the Jane Goldman books which look at these are quite interesting.

In these days especially of social media, "fake news" and ever evolving advances in AI, it pays to question what we see/read a bit more. I guess the increasingly difficult thing to do is to try and sort fact from fiction and not get dragged down the rabbit holes of conspiracy theories. The thing about the latter though is that they get us thinking because there is more often than not a credible question being asked. I don't think many, for example, would buy into the Twin Towers being all a black op. but, on the other hand, I defy anyone to watch the Zeitgeist movie and not believe that there are more than a few things "off" about the whole official version of events!

So, Mulder or Scully? Me, I'm kind of inbetween. Like Mulder I "want to believe" but like Scully I also try to look for rational explanations. The problem is that science cannot yet provide the answers for everything and empiricism doesn't really have the answers for everything either. Paranormal events, ghosts, third dimensions, quigong, UFOs, extra-terresterals, spirits, telepathy, deja vu etc. Logically these can all exist.

The Bermida triangle was a good one alright. A real mystery for years until technology eventually solved the riddle of the sinking ships.
Events like the Titanic sinking or the towers attack are always open to the fruitcake brigade interpretation. Usually it is just lots of small things been missed or not happening at certain times.
I remember when the space shuttle blew up years ago and wondering how could it have happened. After an extensive investigation, it turmed out to be "O" rings used around the coolant that triggered the mass explosion.
Life can be ended by lots of small mistakes that cullimate in death or implosions or explosions.
Conspiracy is theory without all the facts.

The Jon-Benet Ramsey murder in 1997 is a good unsolved murder mystery.

The 6 year old beauty pageant girl found strangled in her family home basement but only after a second search of the house.

Bungling police blaming the parents from day one and believing they killed her.

Search it out on YouTube, the ineptness of the police is breathtaking, even up until recent times.

I noticed the Pentagon announced their results from investigation into UFOs from the mid to late last century.
Conclusion was as expected. Sensitive experimental intelligence gathering research.
Interestingly this report does not include sighting from this new millennium. I would image it's more of the same.
    Or maybe not....🤔🤔

Anyone else enjoy this sort of stuff and if so, which mystery/ conspiracy theory / world event captivates you?
Morning Mick. Don't know whether you've seen it yet but if you haven't there's a documentary about this currently available on BBC iPlayer.

Thanks 68 but already seen it.

As soon as there’s a documentary about serial killers or crashed planes I’m all over it.
