    Chris Rigg

Now you can shoot me down with this one all you want but I have found out from a very reliable source (I am not an ITK) but you just have to trust what I am saying..

That Chris Rigg has been out for a few meals with the Newcastle owners on more than one occasion and that you can expect him to be a Newcastle player in the future..

I'm not saying who has told me this on a public forum.

this works well either as bona fide gossip or as bait. Win-win, especially as he's a Mag and has huge potential.

Good prospect and another local lad, but why would the owners be wooing a youngster as opposed to the academy staff?

Probably because Sunderland have a better academy right now

Fair enough but I don’t believe it. It’s Rigg we’re talking about, not Mbappe FFS.

To be fair - I've heard the same thing about him as well.

So, I do think they'll be something in this.

That may be so just now, at this moment, but since the take over we have had much better product results benefiting the team than they have, by light years.

    Interesting read about him.
