Sorry for ump**** mistakes, too many beers watching todays football.
Ok guys this season has gone so what do we need ,a bit of fantady football. We need a goalie and a good one.Teo big dominant centre backs ,and a left back.Thats 4 quality players we need.I think we eould need to play 4231.Macari i think would make a great right back.If Matty Palmer comes back ok then Palmer and Robertson looks good to me.The three eould be Crowley ,Didsy/Scott,Jones and Macca up front.Ok if we lose players then more is needed.

Means shifting 8 out of contract players on but would imagine if we can it would help with budget to rebuild the defence
Bit early for this. I want to see what happens in the last 11 games
Main question is who will Montague be consulting with as Head Coach. The present one took over with us in a play-off place and has taken us quickly to 15th with a 4 from 24pt run
How many goalkeepers do we need?
I think we need to move some people on, including some who are still within contract.
And if results don't improve then yes, that includes the head coach.
I think a great goalkeeper and a great defender or two and we could be very competitive next season. Regardless though, we absolutely must improve results. We are deep into relegation form at the moment which is absolutely shocking and unacceptable.
Pretty much agree with this but can’t see Langstaff nor Jones staying, there will be offers from clubs higher up the pyramid and, crucially (and probably in a big difference to January / last season) you’d imagine that they’ll both be keen to go, so that’ll be extra rebuilding. I do worry about the calibre of players who’d come under SM, whereas clearly under Williams players genuinely did buy-in to the project.
Would also keep Baldwin but he’s out of contract and I imagine he’ll have better offers.
Jones will probably have offers but I can't see Langstaff having offers. He's gone off the boil massively and he hasn't offered much off the ball either.
I was in two minds with Baldwin, on his day, he's our best defender but the likelihood of us shipping out 8 or 9 players with so few out of contract made me think get rid and get someone better.
And I think you're right about SM. I think that is one of the issues with the current squad. I think if he was to be successful, he would have been better to come in as an assistant to someone with experience and then take over. As it stands, he has no gravitas in the professional game and I think that is always in the players mind's
