    Crawley 4 v 1 Notts (Langstaff)

    365

Another 90+ minutes of mundane disappointment with 65% possession and missed opportunities with at least one defensive howler leading to a goal and another pirouette from Mrs Slocombe.

If anything its not Slocambes fault the recruitment team totally f---d up the goal keeping recruitment with 2 goal keepers that were no better and maybe worse than Slocambe

When it comes down to it you are spot on. It's not the fault of any of the players we are critisicing for being picked. It's the clubs fault for not anticipating this at the back end of last season.

We have a very good record v Crawley, even Fullarton managed to win there! We've won 3 and drawn 1 of the last 4 visits. They are in decent form though.

Crawley have only drawn once in 21 league games, everything about their basic stats is mid-table though their home record is slightly below average (4 defeats in their last 7 at home) and Maynard has been a little better away so far.

I'm going to go for the draw and for the first 2-2 of the season.

    2-2

Having seen Crawley twice this season their style looked very much akin to Notts. An attractive footballing side that scores goals but also vulnerable defensively.
Scott Lindsay would have been on my interview list to replace LM.
    3-1 to Crawley .
Dan Crowley to score for Notts. Jatta to warm the bench for 87 minutes and 330 Notts fans.
