Tbh, I'm not sure why you think Targett is the answer?

For me, he's the LB equivalent of Chris Wood-bought to do a job but pretty limited.

He is a left back though who has pace and can get forward unlike burn

Our away form has been bad even before the injuries. Howe has to take some blame.

Can’t agree bud, he was a solid 7/10 every week when he came in, and the form he had in the second half of Howe’s first season was as good as our defensive form last season.

Miley’s assist was the reason Longstaff should be on the bench for the rest of the season

Injuries aside, we looked pretty poor for for most of the part of the game i saw.

The way we're playing, we're right where we deserve to be in the table.

And that's one win in 29 there.

Bruno must be wondering why he has to play alongside this donkey. If we don’t show some ambition in the summer I wouldn’t blame him if he triggered the release clause. That was shambolic tonight, we scored the best 2 goals and lost! Longstaff had overstayed his welcome now,get rid.

Agreed on Longstaff but reckon Bruno probably just wants to forget he stood there like he had all the time in the world, and Palmer literally took the ball from his feet.

Longstaff misplaced a pass by passing the ball approx. 2 metres directly to a Chelsea player… if he starts a game next season it would be a f**king travesty. No creativity at all, scores a goal here and there but overall he just slows the game down, very very rarely passes it forward and is not a player that any other club competing for even the top half would ever start out of choice… we don’t have little choice at the moment, but I would be playing Miley long before I picked Longstaff at the moment.

Botman looks unfit or not mentally there, because he is a shadow of the centre half we had last season.

Miggy actually looks a lot better a player down the left than he does the right???

Tino is the only one that started and stood out as not being poor last night.

Gordon struggled from the off, didn’t get back to help Burn and that gave a brittle Chelsea the confidence they needed, and enabled Palmer who was head and shoulders best player on the pitch. I don’t know if he was injured before the game kicked off but his head never seemed in it.

Burn was never gonna cope with Palmer - that’s more a statement than a dig at Burn

Isak scored a cracking goal, but he is poor when the ball is played into his feet and he has players around him, he needs to know what he would do if he received the ball at anytime instead of thinking he has anytime time to think about it when he receives the ball.

Murphy scored a cracker, not on all the match so not gonna hold him to blame for much.

Willock was hardly involved in the game for some reason, and fluffed a few opportunities when he was.

Dubravka was poor, should have done better for their first 2 goals.

Howe was slow to change things, obviously the bench was poor but he should have coached the team to be able to respond to plan A not working and have other approaches in mind, we just never seem to have any plan B… and god knows that Longstaff must be playing like Messi on the training pitch to keep being selected, Miley is already a better player at 17 than he’ll ever be.

Palmer is a cracking player, but other than him we got mugged by an average team who were playing a make shift defence that we hardly tested.
