Lots to like today. McGrath, the emerging partnership between MacKenzie and Hoillet, Miovski looking lively, Clarkson’s technique for the goal, Barron, etc. Done with Roos, though, I have to say.

Play like that and we’ll be fine.

Wasn’t expecting us to get anything today but it sounds like the team put in some effort which has been missing in a lot of games this season.

Well done to them but they need to do that for the remaining games.

Fair play, massive result. Dug in & dug it out so credit to all involved.

Absolutely MUST build on that this time though.

Much better composure, structure & use of the ball.

I still get the fear every time the ball goes in our box - & we still had a few ropey moments back there with that - but overall much more solid.

Gartenmann especially. Don’t like him or rate him as a CH, but fair fücks he was decent today.

Aye it was a shyte VAR call, but all these handball VAR calls are shyte just now & we’ve had our fair share go against us, so the goal was rightly chalked off. The rule needs changed though cause its a farce for everyone.

Hoilett is a class act. His composure, touch and use of the ball is first class. I think he misplaced one ball all day. Wish we had a few more like that.

Bojan much more lively & unlucky not to score. Some of his decision making left a lot to be desired though.

Got to be happy with that & surely to god they’ve got to take confidence from that performance & result going into the break to get the results to put this relegation pish to bed.

So well done all, but that’s just the start lads, not the finish…

That's us up to ninth, but still a long way to go. We're not out of the woods yet.

Midfield looked good today. The guys seemed to have more time on the ball, and composure to pick a pass. I do, however, think that's a result of Motherwell failing to set up to frustrate us. They looked a poor team, and it seems that they could be more likely to finish 11th than us after that performance.

Aye fk Sportsound ... but Ah can see far they are comin fae in one sense.

VAR called it correctly - according tae the laws o' the game as they stand. The prob is nae wi VAR, it's the diabolical new handball rules.

If the rule could be amended tae consider whether an accidental handball incident significantly changed/affected the direction of the ball and/or the run of play, it would make more sense. The result of such consideration would be that Motherwell's 'goal' would stand, and Dundee would not have been awarded a pen on Wednesday against us.

We'd have gained a point and lost two ... but it would at least have been fair on all concerned ... but fk it ... We'll take the three and the pundits can go fk themselves.

Maybe to put in in simpler terms.

Did a team gain any measurable advantage/disadvantage as a result of accidental contact between ball and hand/arm? ... If not? then nothing to see here ... move on.

Another point was the boot in the face Devlin got. A few weeks ago Timmy had a player sent off for similar offence yet Mugabe's was not even looked at. Inconsistency again. For the record I thought neither of the 2 incidents were worthy of red cards.
