Gordon - called up for England Squad

Gordon has been called up by Southgate for friendly squad against Brazil and Belgium.

Really pleased for him and well deserved, just hope he doesn't aggravate his injury in playing.

If he makes he debut, he'll be the first Newcastle player since Carroll to make their England debut whilst playing for Newcastle.

Anthony Gordon has received his first England senior call-up

Well shows he is doing a great job to get a call up from Southgate

Great that he's got the recognition he deserves...but if anybody looked like he should be playing for Scotland, it's him.

Yet again, the way he was playing compared to others in the England squad, he ought to have been a shoe in last season.

Been avoiding football this week. Hate it currently but made up for Anthony, well deserved before now.

Hope he enjoys his 5 minute cameo while Rashford flops about for the other 85.

Late EH decision I think is the latest. No Barnes though.

Pope could return in the next few weeks which is good news, though too late for this season.

Aye, by that absolute gobshite TalkoftheTyne. He's the knob who Simon Bird quoted as an influential social media account after he slagged off the team following the Chelsea defeat.
