I’d like to hear the justification for this. Basically ‘you are/used to be good so here’s some help to make sure you can be good in the future’.
It’s indefensible and is a smack in the face to sporting integrity in football.

Anyone who had any doubts about favoring the big clubs, cannot have anymore.

We NEED to win something, we will never be taken seriously by the power brokers until we do, let’s just hope it’s soon!

It makes any trophy won by the cartel hollow as fk. They know it, the fans know it but the spreadsheets need to be kept happy. Like all these things, when the business men and accountants get involved and become the most important influence then sport gets ruined

Nothing new in saying any of that everyone knows it.

I doubt many of the cartel fans even fully appreciate winning a cup and how massive winning one would be to a club like us.

Wonder if Sunderland could make it to Europe via the fair play rule

They might be able to manage another trip down to the third tier. There's still time.

    12th in the fizzy
14 points off even sneaking into the playoffs (based on your vastly inferior goal difference) with 8 games to play.

Another year in the fizzy and another 3 teams coming down with premier League money to p!$$ it up again 🤣

Clearly the troll has no clue how football works. Mackems don't understand football at all. They aren't used to the sport. They only get to see a bunch of inbreeds with rotten teeth limp around on their gimp legs. It's more of a charity for the mentally deficient than a football club.

The momentum of the unwashed this season compared to the clubs above is negative. The only way is down for them.
It would be hilarious to see them come up the Prem to get thrashed week in week out and give us a nice easy 6 points. s

Saying that, they'll be giving 6 points to everyone so won't be that much of an advantage.

When we do come up we'll have an investment of money - just being there and extra tv money - so we will improve our team. You guys won't get it your own way with us so easy.

Could be 6 points to the black cats in that fixture.. as we go for Europe. Remember 2014? we won 0-3 away to Chelsea.

The tv money won't be enough, though-your tight-arsed owner will have to spend, something he doesn't seem prepared to do given your club's 'model'.

Let's be honest here-if Saudi money came into your club, you'd all fall off your moral high horse quicker than if it had suddenly vanished from beneath you (I know that's not what you're talking about here but the point stands)
