My insurance is up in April . I've got a Ford Kuga Titanium x sport 180bhp 4x4 .
Last year I paid £341 , the quote I had this morning of them was £841 .
How can they justify an increease of over 130%

Just had a good quote from Hastings ,£425 including RAC cover with recovery

I used SAGA some years back until they hiked the premium up to some stupid level. I’m with LV, they have been reasonable, so far, but bracing myself for a nasty shock to come!

I'm with Flow (part of LV group), mine went up just £20 which was a nice surprise (Audi A3 2016). Wife's went up about 50% so had to shop around, it's suggested that wage increases, the quotes for repairs (a racket if ever there was one) and cost of materials for repairs are all factors.
