Crash, does pet insurance cover meds? To be honest I've not looked up the small print on our pet's insurance.

You raise a good point though.

Glad the rip off is universal. Not unknown for dog lovers here to fork out over $1K for teeth cleaning. When ours was alive, as he had a heart murmur they even wanted an extra $500 beforehand to give him an ECG to make sure he was up to having them done. Mrs. CA is not as polite as you Crash so "Do one" wasn't her response

Pet insurance is crap. We put £40a month in a saving account now
Last time we needed it , years ago it was covered for 2grand. When Bruno had an operation for 1900.
The insurance gave ue 500. Saying it was for five different problems at 500 each.
Then he needed another op on his other leg and they wouldn't pay out saying it was an ongoing problem .
    On the other leg.
So paid £480 a year for 5 years and got 500 help

We pay £180 a year for the family cat. This covers up to £8,000 for any ailment/Operation. Doesn't matter how many times we claim, hopefully never, he can have several issues and it's only after we hit the ceiling of £8,000 do we have to start paying ourselves.

Brin you are so trusting, if it has skin issues it may pay out. If it happens again they won't.

Almost forgot, Daughter pays £15.69 a month herself to cover all of his inoculations, worm and flea tablets and none of these three are cheap, also his nails are clipped every 4- 6 weeks all at no extra cost. Apparently, nail clippings are £40 a visit she therefore is more than in pocket annually.
