At the end a decent point, but it seemed the dreaded international break, had really had an effect.
Cooper was dire, surely now Cresswell has to get another crack, Joseph also, lad cant show any more. Next game against Hull, really is massive.

Like most on here, will be disappointed if he doesn't revert to Rodon and Ampadu combination from the start against Hull. Injuries aside that is. And then perhaps Cresswell.
Would nearly say also, that if we don't lift and put Hull to the sword... given their form...then we will struggle for top 2!

    Me too.

Gruev was missed a lot as he just neatly stays in the pivot role and forms a great triangle at the back with Rodon and Ampadu.

Firpo and Joseph looked v good when they came on - Farke seems to have worked wonders with Junior.

Rutter not fully fit, ampadu, rodon, James still suffering from going to extra time and losing on penalties, gnonto, gruev and Robert’s out injured, firpo only flew back that very morning to join the team, no training sessions, firstly no one can say the international thing didn’t effect us and secondly the fact we got a point and almost won it in the end was something, also how many players did Ipswich have on international duty? To add insult gnonto and Robert’s out for 3 weeks.

Yep mid season breaks for internationals is rubbish.

All things considered I think we did pretty well second half and might even have sneaked it

Even if Struick was fit, I’d still play Rodon and Ampadu.

Big mistake not to keep that pairing, nothing to do with internationals.
Though I take the point that they disrupted our form and caused injuries.

Indeed keep as many things the same as possible in a winning team.

Any pairing that keeps cooper out of the back 4 is a bonus, harsh as it may sound, been a loyal servant but his time is up.
