Leeds will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing draw at Vicarage Road on Good Friday with the visit of Hull City on Easter Monday.

A below par Leeds side had to come from behind twice to grab a share of the spoils, but lost top spot to Ipswich Town as a result. Nevertheless, three points will be expected, against a Hull City side with no wins in five, including a surprise 2-0 home defeat last against Stoke City last time out!

Liam Rosenior's side still have promotion desires of their own, and are only six points shy off a play off place; but with just seven games left, they must start turning draws into wins.

72 hours doesn't give Daniel Farke's side much recovery time, so we can expect to see Wilfred Gnonto, Conor Roberts and Ilia Gruev remain sidelined, alongside long term absentee's Pascal Struijk and Stuart Dallas.

It will be hoped that Ethan Ampadu will start alongside Joe Rodon in central defence, and Sam Byram switches to right back (where he looks a lot more comfortable. This will allow Archie Gray to operate in midfield, where he is best.

The visitors will be without Jacob Greaves (suspended) and Liam Delap (knee). 38yo Billy Sharp is likely to be among their substitutes.

The local Hull Mail paper stating Tigers poor performance against the Potters (particularly from the attacking unit) that Rosenior would be well within his rights to make a flurry of changes as the likes of Anass Zaroury, Jaden Philogene & Fabio Carvalho offering almost nothing in attack while Oio on his debut was feeding off scraps for the most part of game.

Given how Rosenior has set up away from home this season & especially in recent weeks away (in particular against Saints & against Foxes at home) it's almost certain he will now revert to type & go with a high press set-up which served him so well in all those games ! 🤔

Hopefully leaving gaps to exploit. 👍

After dragging Coops and switching Ampadu back there against Watford, surely it showed he knew he got that wrong. He couldn't possibly do it again after that....could he? 😮 Will be tempted to switch it off if it happens!

For me, Junior has been the biz with Rodon & Ampadu filling the gaps in behind his disappearing shadow with panache.
Take Amps out of that position & mmm, err even if Byram plays left - the Amp/Rodon system is more solid at this stage of season, imo, end of.

Without the full throttle of Rutter our link ups between the midfield & attack with Bamf as lynchpin has wavered of late too.

Noticable how Joseph's more direct box play positions add that "hustle" & "get in there" effect regarding openings to score too, rather than Bamfs languid tepid runs into the box with no real intent to attack the goal when he has the ball.

Valuable ingredient that in our attacking thrust game plan now!
