I go to bed late anyway and only remembered at 12.55am that it was about to become 2.00am!😩
At least I got to change the clocks in the house before heading up to bed.
I’ll bet s few of you are still walking around to the old time this morning!?😏
Unfortunately I worked last night so what was a 6 am finish became a 7 am finish which isn't too bad but as I'm working tonight again I'll feel like I've lost an hour as my 9 pm start will still feel like 8.
Changed all our clocks at 7.30pm last night so I would not forget. A couple of people did not attend our usual 8am Church Service this morning and I bet its because they forgot to put the clocks forward.
Retail Mick. Was a manager for very many years but stepped down a few years ago to help the better half out more with care and home education of our youngest who has autism and dystonia. Primarily I now do admin jobs although lately I spend increasingly more time on replen. (which I'm beginning to feel a bit old for now 😁. The reduced hours on nights suit but with increasing cost cutting don't know how long before they transfer positions onto days/ twilights.
I think in this digital age it’s hard to forget, modern phones change the time automatically, I wonder if there is still any market for alarm clocks these days?
I was bought a watch by dad for my 18th birthday but once that was past it best I never bothered again.
I’ve always seemed able to know the time within 5 minutes without a watch so I’ve never bothered again.
I do think that with some people a watch is a bragging right, especially men with the big chunky top brand models.
Having said that, my wife loves watches and the most expensive piece of jewellery I’ve ever bought for her was a Tiffany watch in Perth, Australia.
My wife loves it so much that she ended up selling all but one of her other watches as she mainly just wears the 5 year old Tiffany watch.
