Swansea v QPR, Mon 1 April, 15:00
The second of our Easter games and once again we meet a side struggling to get to safety from relegation.
Whilst we were scraping a draw at Hillsboro, QPR got a welcome win at home to another struggling side Birmingham, with a 92’ winner.
There are only 8 points separating us in 15th place on 47 points and the relegation places 22nd and 23rd on 39 points, with 9 teams involved in the scramble for safety.
QPR come to us in good form, losing only one of their last 6 away matches and conceding only 3 goals. We take this match lightly at our peril.
Swans have an indifferent home record this season winning only 6 of their 19 games at the Swansea.com. Two of those wins coming in the last two home games after four straight home defeats.
Looking on the positive side we are much improved under Williams, although prone to blips in form such as the Bristol and Sheffield away matches.
A bumper holiday crowd is expected and they need to get behind the team from the off. Good luck Swans!

In the reverse fixture last September the result was 1-1, a late equaliser from Dykes, heading in a cross from Chair.
Coach Ainsworth complained that our 7’ minute goal by Ginnelly should have been disallowed for handball.
Now they have a new man in charge, Marti Cifuentes, and results are better so we need a cautious approach to this one.

I think there’ll be a big clear out at the end of the season, we’re just not good enough, even after all those summer signings.
Meanwhile let’s make sure of safety by collecting as many points as we can.
A big improvement from the last match is needed if we are to get anything from this one.

Swansea 0 - QPR 1 (Cook 71’)
We had the chances, we couldn’t take them, QPR did and won the match. They wanted it more than us and were allowed to foul us by a weak ref - first match I can remember with no bookings.
The longer the game went on you just knew it wasn’t going to be our day, hitting the woodwork twice and some top saves from Begovic.
So one point from six on offer against two teams below us in the table - not good. It doesn’t get any easier and we’ll have to pull our finger out to get anything at Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Missed chances cost us yesterday, where was Piroe when we needed him! Getting splinters in his backside propping up the subs bench at Leeds, that’s where.
QPR better organised and wanted it more.
Weak set piece defending our downfall again.
