    Quarters

I seem to remember from some time ago that the Yanks wanted football matches to be split into quarters; looks like it’s now happening, half way through each half everyone stops for drinks! Back in the day, Ossie would have had a pint!

They’re taking a short break at the moment so that players who follow Ramadan can break their fast Kets.

Actually Mick, I did know that, just my little way of having a moan about it. How about no football to be played at Easter, to respect Christians? Keep religion out of sport; anyone that cannot get through a match because they haven’t eaten or drank properly shouldn’t be playing.

I couldn’t agree more mate, probably dangerous to be playing after fasting.
