    spectacular cluster F**K.

The rules are not fit for purpose. The Luxury tax idea is stupid and not an alternative.

Clubs should have to break even like any other business. Simple. If you have a wealth owner you shouldn't be hamstrung by ineffectual rules.

The clubs all voted on this nonsense as a PR stunt as they were getting hammered in the press at a time when the UK was suffering some of the worst Austerity rules and people were genuinely struggling. Things haven't improved for the general public but the FFP/PSR rules are not fit for purpose.

Teams getting punished for none football related reasons is utterly pathetic.

Swap the sport to Boxing or MMA/UFC.

A fighter becomes champion wins 10 epic wars in the cage or ring. Then has his title stripped because he had more & better coaches, spent more money on training camps and sparing partners than his opponents. Utter nonsense!

When people say 'it's financial doping.' I say, 'Horse S**t!'

Doping is doping, sports men and woman in any sport including Football, like Pogba, who used PEDs are cheats. They are caught and banned. As they should be, Good riddance to cheaters.

However, Team GB won a truck load of medals at the 2012 Olympics in London as a direct corelation to the money invested in the project.

Restricting the amount of money teams can spend has failed as an experiment.

Yeah, they will. They will sell off the Academy graduates as they are 100% pure profit. Continuing to remove any connection to the club, Cobham and the fans.

As a fan of the game, I find this despicable. As a Newcastle Fan, I'm laughing my a$$ off at the Chelsea fanbase, Rory Bellendings etc going full melt down. Chelsea going back to the mid-table no bodies they were before the Russian money.

Worth a punt but really don't see the lad moving north of the Watford gap. He's got that Whiff of a Soft Southern about him. His missus won't like the idea of 'va Norf'. He'll got to West Ham or Spurs. Maybe a Villa as he can still commute.

It's telling that ManUre, Arsenal & Liverpool didn't spend in Jan. They all have the concern that punishments are now real with Everton and Forest setting the precedent.

The whole thing is dumb. It works on the tax year instead of the football season. It would make more sense to run for the year between the end of each Summer transfer window. Sept 1st to Sept 1st. That way Forest's stupid punishment wouldn't have happened. They waited til the end of the window to get the best price for a top player. That deal put more money into the clubs accounts, it was good business but still they got punished.

    STUPID!

City don't need any players, they have 2 world class 11s. Their case is taking forever due to the vast amount of charges and data that has to be reviewed.

The EPL should have focused on 5-10 absolute nailed on, bang to rights cases against City to make it clear cut. With the 100+ other alleged offenses as circumstantial supporting evidence.

Whether this sprawling case is intentional to muddy the waters and make the whole thing so Opacic that the whole thing falls apart, whether they are a set of chances, like apes at the zoon flinging their own faeces against the wall or they genuinely believe that can hammer the Manchester club for a vast majority of these 100+ charges remains to be seen.

However, from what I've seen so far of Masters, the EPL and the rest of this clown troop it smells like Apes at dawn to me.

But what makes it more hilarious is because there was no spending - Sky went ape**** because all the money they put into the prem was for nothing as there was no business to sell on TV.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens with Chelsea and sales in the end of season
