In my opinion a lot longer than two months which is the length of the close season nowadays
The Dens Park pitch was relaid with new turf but in my opinion this was just papering over the cracks which showed up during the first home game of the 2023/24 season against Motherwell.
The pitch was flooding at the Bob Shankly end with the ground staff out during the game trying to push the water which was forming a large puddle off the pitch.
6-7 weeks and you comfortably have a game of football on it. Motherwell we're playin on theirs 4.5 weeks after seeding the year they rebuilt their pitch. Dens wasn't relaid, it was seeded, like almost every other pitch that undergoes a close-season renovation.

Worms? If only it was that easy.

Hope not - they want to sow seed in sand where it'll possibly last two or three weeks before dying out leaving us with a pitch like a desert - wait a minute though, Arabs? Sand is good? I really hope that's not their MO.

    😂😂😂

Tried to offer a bit of advice to give you an understanding of the situation but it's clearly making no difference. Ah well, enjoy another call-off and a six figure sum to sort your pitch. 👍🏼

Once again I'd say you couldn't make it up but, of course, you just did.
here lies the problem, you have just made things up to make yourself look popular and knowlegable

I enclose an article from the Dundee Football Club website dated 17th May 2023 which states that the pitch is being relaid. https://dundeefc.co.uk/news/work-underway-on-new-pitch/
It does not state that the pitch is being reseeded.
It would take about a year for a football pitch to be reseeded and the grass to grow before it was fit for a football match to be held on it without wrecking the pitch.

The greens on golf courses used to have worm casts on them until the greenkeepers decided to get rid of the worms.
This resulted in the greens suffering from thatch with golf clubs having to thousands of pounds every year needle tinning and hollow tinning the greens to help with the drainage of the greens.

See the yellow attachment on the back of that big blue tractor? It's called a Vredo compact disc seeder. It's used for seeding the pitch.....but never mind.

A year to seed a pitch. 🤣 Go do some research man. 🤣
