What surprises me about that list is. Wycombe Burton and mk dons spending more on wages than we did.

These figures are taken from the Salary Sport website so won't be 100% accurate but will give you a fair indication. The first figure is the annual wage bill. The second figure is weekly bill. The third figure is average attendance, followed by final league position.

Wigan paid out £4 million less in wages than Sheffield Wednesday. £3 million less than Ipswich Town and not even twice what we were paying out in our promotion season. They had a budget comparable to Sunderland and Charlton.

So when you say that Wigan had much higher budget, were you talking complete *******s?

On the face of it, that sounds reasonable…..The fact remains, and supported by others with good reason, his team was a with a very higher spend……
And he will not get that here. No way, as we all know too well
He is unproven on our budget.

…..which reading all the posts on this topic, the overwhelming feeling is, “big risk”.

Derby pinched warne because of repeated success at this level, and on a low budget. (Derby had a spend embargo at the time)

I will explain to those that think he deserves to be the head coach next season why that is an awful idea.
1. He is currently 6 points away from Warnes 2016/17 total (not the season total the number of points won whilst PW was manager). We all remember how horrendous that season was and LR has made this own worse.
2. In the last 10 games we have scored in 2 of them, 8 times out of 10 we have failed to score a goal!!! Even at this stage there is NO ATTEMPT to win a game of football.
3. The situation with players not turning up for work, that has to have something to do with him
