What a absolute great goal from Memane.👏👏👏
The "nothing for us to play for" remarks aren't really valid, Walsall had everything to play for and we didn't want to get beaten. The work rate all across the pitch was a level above what we have been producing since before Christmas. Defence played well apart from a few blips (Brindley didn't shine when he came on though).

I thought a draw at Walsall would be a decent result, so a win is very pleasing.
Very good first half, but the view from the Walsall fans is that they simply didn't take their many chances in the second half, so maybe it's not time to declare the glorious resurrection of our defence just yet - just one of those days when we took our chances and they didn't take theirs.
The bottom line is that results are what counts, and they are finally improving. Stuart Maynard will need quite a few more good results to 'break even' and win over the sceptics, but at least he's got himself a platform upon which to build.
Great win yesterday and the first two goals were brilliant. Glad for Nemane as well. Are the tables turning at last.
Glad for SM as well. COYP
The problem SM has is that he can't really change the defence until the close season. He can juggle it about and play a back 3 or 4 but he still has the same players and some obviously aren't good enough.
