Don’t talk to me about half full glasses Albionic buddy. I’ll never forget our episode at Sutton Coldfield WBA Supporters event. I don’t think I could possibly repeat it !

Life is made up of stories such as this !

What if you were a Hull fan? Or Norwich? Or even Leeds, Ipswich or Leicester? Or Coventry losing to Hull in one of their games in hand after putting a great show in v Man Utd?
I reckon it’s nervy for all of us!

Living in Norfolk, the majority of my work colleagues are Norwich fans and I can safely say that they are equally nervous as we all know that none of the closing games are certainties.

Tbh, I think they feel similarly about other issues too as they worry about lack of consistency in the team and have concerns that even if they do get promotion the gulf in finances and quality will at best see them languish at the bottom and at worst only see them relegated again. For the same reasons expressed on here in the past, they generally prefer the Championship to the Premier league.

I suspect that, like a lot of Baggies, they will certainly celebrate if they do manage to gain promotion but that they do not harbour any real expectations of it and just want their team to play well as they have shown they can do in these last games and not let fans down by poor performances.

I see the play offs as just a bonus to what could have been a dire season from the beginning. Getting a new owner has been the best result all season to in my opinion. Everything else is just a bonus. If we make them we get two more games at least, possibly three.
If we stay in this division it wont be a dissapointment in my view when the whole year's performances are all totted up. We have surpassed my own dismayl foecast at the start.
No money spent for players, lots of injuries and yet here we are with two games left and in with a chance of play offs.
It has been a fantastic team effort whatever happens from here.

In life you look at the present and future - not the past. After having a substantial lead over the 7th team for weeks we now have two games against average sides at best to get three points. Getting these points will be no bonus but failure will be a shocking missed opportunity!

Then from the play offs - it’s a bonus if we progress as the third and fourth teams have been consistently better than us and consistently played better football.
