    🇮🇷 and 🇮🇱

300 missiles and drones fired at Israel. No deaths.
    One injured person.
    Minimal damage.
    Most shot down outside Israel.
    99% interception rate.
Let's leave it at that now.

Agree, I would quietly leave Israel to put the Iranian regeime back to the stone age, most Iranians I have met and it’s quite a lot, are progressive educated people, they are so stifled by the mad mullahs.
Let’s see how many marches we will see in support of the Ayatollah and his merry band?

They are indeed Dave. They are a friendly out going people with a long great contribution to humanity's history. The dictators there are as bad as the other two in Russia and China.

That strike in Damascus was not likely to draw any other outcome tbh but however disliked the Iranian regime is under Khamenei, this tit for tat between Israel and Iran will only escalate if not checked and the consequences for the wider region-if not further afield- will be dire.

With the help of Western allies -the US particularly-the large drone attack was mostly thwarted and comparatively little damage done so ideally Israel needs to now bite it's tongue and leave it there. Continuing to target Iranian backed attacks on itself by proxies in other countries is one thing and quite legitimate but to threaten to retaliate by attacking Iran itself is another thing entirely.

For all his rhetoric, Khamenei is wary of getting involved in a direct war with the US and would likely consider the recent attack on Israel enough of a response for Damascus. The issue will be whether Netanyahu can be persuaded to exercise considered restraint. Doubtless, the US are urging it but Netanyahu is little better than the likes of Khamenei or Putin and the public proclamations of support from the US, UK and others may yet make him feel that he can act as he wishes, regardless of any consequences, as he seeks to be perceived as a man of strength to the Israeli population following the heinous attack of October.

Whilst in total agreement with others regarding the current crop of authoritarian regimes, particularly Iran, Russia and China, personally, I view Netanyahu as being every bit as dangerous as Putin in terms of his threat to any peaceful solutions. That his own actions will also impact global stability and only encourage even greater co-operation between Russia, China and the Iranian led "Axis of Resistance" is of little consequence to him. The quicker he and his hard-liners fall from power the better.

Like him or not, he was put there by democratic forces and may go the very same way eventually. I wouldn't see him as dangerous as the others you meneioned. It is this attack by the axis forces that might just wake the democracies of the world up from the present stupid position they have taken.
What won't be avoided can't be avoided Omegs.

I’m no apologist for Hamas Oneg, they are utter scum but Netanyahu is a war criminal and responsible for terrible atrocities.

The Yanks need to tell him they’re not supplying anymore weapons and that if he doesn’t stop bombing innocents in Palestine that they’ll start bombing Israel themselves.

Netanyahu is a vile man, a complete sociopath.
