Thread: Ayr (H) Match Thread

It was very typical of what we've seen at Tannadice this season. But we did what we had to do and the scenes at the goal and the end, epic. 🧡🖤🧡

He did but the first sub he made should have been the starting team, tillson was terrible, how much Docherty instead makes difference is crazy the drop off

Better after the subs, buzzing for Mochrie, three important winners this season for him, Inverness away, Dunfermline away and today

Back at first time of asking, get the fk in and I'm very happy for Goodwin

It really is a worry that Goodwin thinks his January loan players deserved so much game time,i think its fair comment to say they actually weakened his team.We really cannot hope to survive in the Premiership with that standard of player next season.

Tillson and Grieve definitely need to gtf ASAP,no way we can be wanting them in the top tier. Mochrie for me has done enough with limited opportunities though,I know he's not one of the loanees but I know some folk have put him on their get rid lists.

Goodwin pretty much owned up to tinkering with the team at the time that the results went bad and holds his hands up to say that it didn't work. I think that included his insistence of some players getting game time. I think this season has been a big learning curve for him! Fair play to him though..he has done what he set out to do. I still think that one of the best signings of the season have been the chickens Tony Watt got for his birthday! He was a much improved player once he got himself a wee celebration to do!

Jack Walton on a season loan.

He's been a reliable keeper and part of the spine of the team.

If a deal can be done I'd be happy to have him as our keeper in the Premier league next year.

My worry is that he hasn't really been tested that often, going up a league he's gonna have a lot more saves to make. He's no Biro though at least 🤣🤣

Doubt his ambitions and his wages will see him staying. I think we'll see a new face between the sticks next season.
