    Why do I bother

Just turned over to TNT - Villa and Lille.

Villa goalkeeper hit on the chest. Collapses holding his face. Physios on. At the same time, a Villa players goes down from a tame challenge. Physios on and stretcher brought on. FFS. I was watching women’s golf before.

There are more “girlies” playing football than on the golf course. No disrespect to the ladies.

Seriously sick of the cheating and play acting in football. Same last night between City and RM. RM player goes down with cramp. Seconds later he was charging down the pitch with Deku.

I must be a masochist watching this sh*t week in and week out.

They would be calling for their mummies, Alfin.

The sad thing is that they practice all this sh*t. Part of the game.

Even worse Swiss, they are being coached in the Academies that if anyone breathes on you then you must go down. Problem is that the officials are being told the same that any contact should be a foul one way or the other.
Sadly, this is what the modern fans are wanting to see. It is rubbish.

The Lille v Villa tie taught me something new. When can a player get two yellow cards in the same fixture and not be sent off? When the second booking is in the penalty shoot out. At least Villa went through in a week of carnage for English clubs as Premier League title contenders Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool all crashed out of Europe. Bayer Leverkusen also saw off West Ham and are still unbeaten this season in 44 games. An astonishing achievement.
