I like to keep a few Amoxicilin and Doxycycline handy because my GP is a tw at at prescribing even when I know I need them for water infections.

My infection ls start from absolutely nowhere, I can be okay one minute and then suddenly I’ll get a niggle in the groin and and hour later my right testicle is doing the f kin fandango in my nutsack and it’s agony.

I can save myself days of agony if I have a stash.

I’m coming up Monday, what are surgery times?

Set up a regular prescription! You can get viagra too if you play the game 😂

My GP is like a Nazi when it comes to antibiotics, it’s as if you’ve asked him to spend the night with his missus, the look of horror on his face FFS.

At the end of the day if you have a condition and know what you’re talking about - a good GP should not refuse you with what you want! I called up yesterday and asked for Naparoxen and was asked why - gave him the he reasons why and got it.

So sorry to hear this Soulman. Don't blame you for opting not to go into hospital though unless you absolutely have to as this also carries its own risk of you picking up further infection.

There is a lot of this "hundred day cough" virus about at the moment with some I know having to have had oxygen for a spell and others now having inhalers but your weight loss and coughing up blood is obviously not good. Hope the antibiotics kick in soon and that you get your scans quickly so things can get moving for you.

Anyhow, hope you begin to feel better soon and many congratulations in advance to you and your wife for your Ruby anniversary on Sunday. Take care.

All the best soulman. I don't blame you for not going into hospital. Our local NHS hospital has just been in lockdown following an outbreak of norovirus
