Hope it continues next season after some crap performances this season.

Is that average the whole crowd?
Be interesting to know what the Home average is?

It’s a real shame we couldn’t make the play offs again as that would have cemented the crowd levels, or even bumped them up

6686 was our highest attendance during the 2008/09 season at this level.

15 years later our lowest is over a 1000 more.

upthemagpies, do you have the figures anywhere regarding the home attendances only. ie total minus away fans please?

And if you have the time:
What percentage increase has there been since the Kevin Nolan play off season?
And how does that percentage change compare to League 2 as a whole for that same season?

Seems like a big ask here. Much appreciate it if you have the figures.

An estimate and only that would be an average home crowd of 9.5k

We won 12 home games and scored 51 goals - some crap performances are to be expected over the course of a season. The thing that killed us was those five consecutive defeats, otherwise we’d be in the playoffs.

A quick calculation says that the 17 penalties conceded cost us 15 points (drawing from winning positions, losing from drawing positions), that alone would have us up there. That’s before you factor in the Keystone cops/Benny Hill defending, which cost a few more.
