I fail to understand the logic in not trying to move heaven and earth to stay in the EPL mon ami. Suddenly we look like a decent mid-table EPL team but I feel we have left it all a bit too late.

Yes, it's bloody frustrating isn't it, we do seem to be getting to grips with this level at last. I look at the league table and think we can stay up, then I look at the fixtures and think, nah we're fecked. I'll have to stop this becoming a habit, but I agree with you again, with a more rational approach in last summer's window and a fair deal off the refs and VAR and we'd be comfortably mid table. WTF were they thinking about ?
