    Was seen on gas and air on the coach last night (pic on x)

    Possible broken rib from looking at him last night???

    not good.

    his pace causes real problems for defenses. Especially at the end of games.

    Cracked or pulled and intercostal muscle?

    Those hurt like hell.

    I managed to do something very similar whilst playing in goal twenty-odd years ago when I came out for a ball lumped over the top, only to collide with a combination of one of my defenders and an onrushing attacker. Both big units.

    I did manage to catch and land with the ball, but I had to come out immediately afterwards and it took months to heal and I felt uncomfortable just breathing, let alone doing anything requiring any exertion.

    All the best to Dan for a speedy recovery.

    My last bad football injury was a cracked rib - as you say hurts like hell and takes age to fully heal.

    Its up there with some of the most painful events. Kidney stones, Giving birth and broken ribs
