    People get twitchy despite "Rumours".

Paddy Madden released by Stockport I see. He is getting on a bit but he destroyed us when they won 5-2. Too much to have him and McGoldrick or a good idea for rotation? We probably can't afford his wages anyway unless Langstaff leaves ( which is why he might be an option).

He's off to Chesterfield apparently. They'll almost certainly finish above us next season.

Don't they like us have a non existent defence?

They need a keeper and defenders before they get another expensive old forward. Where exactly are they getting their money from also, pretty sure they were bought by a community trust using loans from two local councils...

I've wondered that for a while. How did they afford players like Will Grigg in the NL despite being owned by a community trust? One minute they're swindling the government out of money and begging for handouts for frost covers, the next they're signing high-profile players on big salaries.

But I agree with the other poster - they'll finish above us next season.

Based on the fact they have a manager with tons of experience and prior successes, the momentum following a promotion, and seem to be aiming high with signings (if the Madden rumour is true).

They have a few good players but I can't see it.

Madden is good player but lets be right McGoldrick was a high profile player too and done it in league one the season before.

McGoldrick needs to be rotated more next season and when fit he is top notch for league two even at 36.
