Well, that's a couple of things we can agree on

Think he will go for a vote. I think he might actually have strengthened his position by acting decisively and binning the arrangement with the Greens. Also why would the Tories and Labour MSPs want Kate Forbes as leader.

Better keep him there in charge of a minority SNP government, imo.

Suppose the dream for Tories and Labour could be bin Humza and get the Deputy Leader Shona Robison as leader.

So the vote of no confidence results in nothing? I take it that it would be down to the conscience of Useless, should he lose the vote, whether he walks or not? He doesn't have a conscience so he'll be staying put I guess.

Why bother then? Posturing by Douglas Ross? He scores political points with his Westminster puppeteers for forcing the vote but changes nothing?

Definitely posturing by wee Dougie, puts Labour under pressure to vote with the tories , if Labour abstain and keep useless in , the tories would use that against Labour in a general election , by claiming they would go into a coalition with the snp .
The snp would then claim by voting Labour you will get a tory government,
