My long route to Calvary and Crucifiction.

Yes, it does involve Wisbech town, that every game i have seen has been a lash of a whip, a whip with small hooks.

A particular savage lash came today, the Wisbech manager, having lost to Cambridge City in the Cambs pro cup final, having lost 4-1, said the team isnt good enough.

Wisbech are 4th from bottom in the united counties league. Every interview is another lash, every word an insult, his stumbling an expreesion of a subconscious problem of how do i get through this, and not appear a dufus, which he fails to do.

And so to saturday and Burslem, an old stamping ground, this blot, this gob on the pavement, and Tunstall, Fegg Hayes, all hellish expressions of the evil of socialism.

And United. Surely, hoisted up, nails in wrists, nails in feet, crying in pain, endless endless pain, burning thirst, blood loss, blood eveywhere, praying for death, and it will come.

When the winning goal for United comes.

Or will it? That a blokes from Cheltenham and Burton arrive, with water, nail removers, smiles, words of comfort, all will be well.

That United are cast down, into fire, brimstone, eternal darkness where demons laugh. Can it be?, redemption? That this chalice passes me by.?

To be replaced by another, in red, and in the fens. Is going for shocking instant coffee, a cheap burger, enough? That the shame of being there cannot be shaken off?

That all of football is run by brazen faced villains? That football is the pox of mankind? its Russia, thats its roll of honour is empty, that all are a pack of dingoes?

Is real coffee beyond football? that Lavazza is not available in hell. Either. Where am i to go from here? Swaffam?

Astronomers have detected a planet with gases that are only emitted by life, you cant have been there chalky. The gases you emit would be wose than Pozzuoli.

I’ve never been there so I wouldn’t know,is it a borough of Ely?

Haven’t you got anything good to say about any of the Cambridgeshire clubs,it seems that you only support them so that you’ve got something to complain about if they lose or even win in Utds case, where’s those years of loyalty gone Frank eh?

How many clubs have you supported over the years? I’ve only ever supported two and those are obviously Notts and Arnold FC who I supported as a lad, great days watching them, the ref would blow his whistle and I could be home before the football results was even finished with Dicky Davis it was thst close to my house

Its worse than not supporting cambridge clubs, its football in general. There was hotel california on the radio, wot wuz that about stabbing it with your steely knives but you just cant kill the beast? You can check out, but you can never leave.

I have. Look at county, if you totalled up the sum of money gleaned in the 1900s from gates, what would it amount too.?

What have you done with it? Why are county in div 4? Even when a soft millionaire took over spending zillions, he got nowhere.

There is no art in football, just hard cash. The elite will never be toppled, that all is predictable.. forever. Only a cretin thinks thats good. County and united will never take to the field with an equal chance, when facing a big club, that the difference will never be tactics and coaching.

That when Cambridge play Arsenal, that the players come from those boroughs? Not France, Indonesia, Gabon, and Bulgaria.

The upshot is that county will always fail, and cambridge, that there is always someone richer. Talking of cretins, Puzzuoli is a town near Naples, it sits on top of a super volcano, as big, or bigger than yellowstone. When it blows, and it will, we will see the end of the earth.

Recently they thought an eruption was coming, eartquakes were daily, the meters going wild.

I went there in my twenties, there were fields of boiling mud and rock, the sulphur fumes were awful. You had to pay for the privelege, and it has a museum. The fumes are like breathing the breath of the devil, from the lower catacombs where he dwells.

Sharp, poison, choking, evil, much like the gases you emit. Had i been an inch from your face, and had a match, being struck, flame would burn my eyebrows.

I would struggle for breath, thinking my time had come, that even though i suck in air, there is none, as the walls of the solfatara close in, to finally drag me into the arms of a demon, deep under the ground, where i am consumed....whole.

That i make the sign of the cross to banish you to hades, and to cleanse me of the curse of football, that to be is to lose....because the dice is fixed.

I defy you, go imp. Spread your brazen falsity elsewhere, as you kneel to the old one, the red tongued, hooked nosed, hooked tailed beast, and take county with you, and the curse that infects it.

    Losers.

In my next life, i really should take up writing, ill make a fortune.

You do seem to have a flair for writing Frank and you create very vivid images in peoples minds

Notts haven’t banked the money since the 1900’s,there’s outgoings like players wages, rent and electricity, policing when local rivals visit, when you set off into adulthood and started work your wages wasnt banked and saved was they, you had a mortgage or rent, then there was wooing the loves in your life and thst racy car that you had your eye on,money goes somewhere else and just disappears, look at the difference in football since the start of the last century, money wise it’s changed beyond all recognition, two quid and fag at half time was the ashes beck then not 10k a game

Notts won’t ever be a Man City or Spurs because our neighbours across the Trent have 75% of the support in Nottingham mostly down to Cloughy winning them two European cups but it’s cooler supporting the smaller club in my city, for every dozen Forest shirts that you see you will only see one Notts but what you will get is a smile and a nod as you pass,I like that,it’s like being in a clique that the others aren’t aware off

Your left arnt you? How do you feel about being poor, and that you will never become rich because the elite wont allow it?

There are no level playing fields. Even now, fa cup replays are banned, a rule from the monied.

There is no route from the northern premier league to topping Man City.

There should be, its the essence of fair play, when the premier league started, that was the end of football.

I am more left than you.

I’m gonna be honest Frank and I’m still not sure what a leftie is but I was known as one at work so I presume thst I must be something like one

What makes you think that I’m poor? I’m not loaded by any means but I’ve got enough to last me the month and a small amount for rainy days,if I wanted more money I would have stayed on at work instead of finishing early and having to be mindful of my bank balance, if I’ve got a quid more left at the end of the month than I need then I’m happy with life, being rich doesn’t just mean you’ve got a lot of money,I’m rich because I’m enjoying my life to do (mostly) what I want, there’s no pockets in shrouds Frank
