    More proof, if it were needed, that the ball is no longer important in the game.Contact sport with a good tackle by the defender, however, by winning the ball and clearing his lines he is adjudged to have endangered his opponent by being reckless.
    An absolute farce and it isn't going to get any better because FIFA won't be happy until every contact is penalised one way or another.

    I read an article by Pep Guardiola in 442 a few years ago and he was saying that there is no need to tackle in football because players should be good enough to work out interceptions, thus avoiding the need to tackle. I disagree, however, what do I know?
